The Republic of Uganda, referred to by Winston Churchill as the Pearl of Africa, is located in Eastern and Central Africa, and lies almost completely within the Nile basin. We had the privilege to film a safari with Uganda Wildlife Safaris, that own great camps and areas in Uganda. We navigate the Kafu River Basin through thick papyrus in small boats in pursuit of the elusive ghost of the swamp, the Sitatunga. Luck was on our side and  we found 2 trophy Sitatungas on day one, so time was on our side to look for Buffalo, Ugandan Kob, Nile Bushbuck and many more.
